    The parts of the seats are like new again, and also the rear brakes are much neater.

    The front fender and hubcaps are like new.
    Many parts are waiting to get mounted again.

    Dear Eric,
    very interesting, your restoration story. But I wonder how the costs would be in summary at the end. Regarding all the things you did I expect the final amount will be higher than buying a good restorated Pagoda??? :(

    Hello Recardo,
    It's true I invest a lot of money, but I guess it's worth it.
    The goal is not to make profit but make a nice looking 230 SL in a very good reliable shape for ourselves to enjoy it for a long time.
    The costs until now are €52500,-, including the car itself, and we're still counting. :2cent:
    I do as much as possible myself, so that saves a lot of money.
    I really don't know what will be the total amount at the end and also the date of finishing is not important, I just enjoy the whole process and try to keep doing that until we can drive it. :)

    Hallo Eric,habe mir die Restauration angeschaut. Danke für die Bilder.Was anfänglich schwierig aussah hast du meisterlich gelöst.
    Hier mal ein Bild von meinem Projekt. Mal sehen ob ich annähernd die Geduld aufbringe.
    Im übrigen sah meine Pagode oberflächlich betrachtet gut aus.

    Wow, das ist eine schwere Aufgabe, ich erkenne das Problem! Es geht darum sich die Zeit zu nehmen um alles richtig zu machen, es lohnt sich!

    Mein erster Ratschlag wäre: Nicht unter eine solch abenteuerliche Konstruktion legen.

    Nicht für ungut, aber das musste kurz raus. Ansonsten: Gutes Gelingen!

    Nein da legt sich keiner drunter, der Stapler steht normalerweise dazwischen und er kommt auf das Drehgestell.
