We recently did a total restoration on our 280SL, the final item was the clock which had never worked since we purchased the car some 25 years ago. It now works thanks to a PagodaUSA member who sent me the address of a company in England that repairs any instrument that exists on the dashboard. The service was very fast and the clock works super all for CHF 100.00 but you have to send the money in English pounds sterling. For those who may have the original clock but it doesn't work or works sporadically here is the address:-

    Hope this helps.
